Golden Hearts Initiative exists to bring companionship, dignity, and joy to seniors living in nursing homes by connecting volunteers with residents for meaningful conversations, shared moments, and lasting friendships.
The Problem
Many nursing home residents spend long periods of time without visitors.
Loneliness among seniors is linked to:
• depression
• declining health
• loss of connection
Golden Hearts Initiative exists to change that.
Our Solution
We believe that no one should feel forgotten, and that even small acts of kindness—like a visit, a story, or a smile—can brighten someone’s entire day.
